TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Acceptance of the Rules
Booking the apartments of La Canonica Resort in Nizza Monferrato implies acceptance of these regulations. The booker is responsible for it personally, even for the people accompanying him.

Rates
Prices are expressed in Euros and are per apartment for the requested period.
The agreed price includes consumption (electricity, water, air conditioning or heating, bed and bathroom linen), with weekly change. We reserve the right to change the published prices of our apartments at any time and without notice. However, the price agreed at the time of booking (excluding any extras), will not be changed under any circumstances.

Reservation & Down Payment
It is possible to make an online reservation using the booking system on our website www.lacanonicaresort.com

To confirm the reservation, personal data, a telephone number, an e-mail address, the period of stay, the number of people, and the details of a valid credit card must be communicated. La Canonica Resort reserves the right to carry out the pre-authorization.

The balance will be paid upon arrival. Alternatively, a 20% deposit can be made by bank transfer, and the balance, in this case, must be received 10 days before arrival. N.B. In the case of bank transfer, the guest has 24 hours to pay the deposit, while the balance must already be credited to us the tenth day before arrival. (Ex. Arrival is January 15th, the transfer must be available in our account on January 5th). In the case of a non-refundable rate, the entire amount must be paid in advance by credit card. If the times indicated above are not respected, the reservation will be automatically canceled and the accommodation will be made available for new requests.

In case of doubts about the use of the online booking system, it is possible to request estimates and information using the form on the "Contacts" page of the website www.lacanonicaresort.com. Please provide us with your correct contact details, so that we can reach you easily.

Cancellation Penalty
Reservations canceled up to 8 days before arrival will not be charged, therefore the pre-authorization will be canceled or the deposit will be returned. Cancellations made after this deadline involve the loss of the entire amount.
In the event of an early departure, the entire agreed booking amount will still be retained.
In the case of a discounted, non-refundable rate, no amount will be refunded in any case.
The reservation must be modified or canceled in writing, if within the established terms, by sending an email to [email protected] and must be confirmed in writing by the managers.

Overcoming unavailability of the accommodation
Should force majeure prevent the accommodation booked from being made available to customers, La Canonica Resort reserves the right to be able to assign another accommodation with similar or superior characteristics at the same price, or in extreme cases to cancel the booking, reimbursing the tourist the amount paid without the latter being able to make further requests for compensation for any reason. It should be noted that outside of what you have paid, nothing else will be refunded or compensated. Therefore no claim for compensation will be considered.

Holiday Home Management Rules
As required by the regional law of holiday homes, the manager undertakes to change the linen weekly and to clean the apartment at each customer change. Any extra change of linen requested by the customer has a cost of € 30.00 to be paid in cash at the change.

By linen we mean sheets and a set of towels (personal, face, and shower) per person.

The housing units are equipped with beds, pillows and blankets, a wardrobe, hangers, drawers, bedside tables or shelves, central lighting, bedside lamps or appliques, a table for meals with chairs, armchairs or sofas in the living room with seats equal to the number of hospitable people, broom, dustpan, bucket, floor rag. All this must be related to the number of beds.

The kitchens are fully equipped and supplied with all the supplies for the maximum number of guests in the apartment.
The bathrooms, in addition to the linen, are equipped with a waste basket, a mirror and an adjacent electricity socket, a shelf, a small brush, a bath mat, and a hairdryer.

Arrival - Balance - Security Deposit
Upon arrival, guests must show a valid identity document. If valid documents are not presented, the reservation will be canceled and the entire amount paid will be withheld.

In the event of damage and/or shortages, compensation will be requested, and assessed by the facility manager.
The following payment methods are accepted: cash, credit cards (visa, MasterCard, debit card)

Departure - Return of the property
On the day of departure, the owner or a person in charge will pick up the keys and check the condition of the property. Any damage caused must be compensated. The apartment must be vacated by 10.00, unless otherwise agreed, to allow for cleaning.

Animals
Pets are not accepted.

Rules during the stay
- Check the efficiency of the apartment and inform us of any anomaly or lack within and no later than 24 hours after your arrival, do not wait for the day of departure to inform us.
- It is strictly forbidden to copy the keys: trespassing, in the absence of authorization, constitutes a serious criminal offense punishable by law. In case of loss of the keys, a refund of €100.00 is foreseen for the damage caused.
- It is forbidden to stay in an accommodation with a number of people higher than the maximum allowed. It is forbidden to allow strangers to enter without having previously communicated it to the manager and having received express consent.
- All accommodations are delivered clean and functional. The customer will have to arrange for the daily tidying up of the apartment and will be responsible for its integrity, for this reason, it is forbidden to move the furniture from its position. Upon return of the property, the customer will have the obligation to leave the accommodation in acceptable conditions, in particular the cleaning of the kitchenette and dishes, which must be returned clean and tidy, under penalty of being charged an additional € 30.00. Customers must also empty the refrigerator. On request, midweek cleaning is possible for a fee.
- The lessee is required to observe the common rules relating to quiet especially in the afternoon and at night, avoiding annoying noises and shouts. Particular silence must be respected between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am and between 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm. Parents are asked to constantly watch over their children so that they do not disturb.
- The lessee undertakes to take the utmost care of the property entrusted to him. Crockery and other household equipment (chairs, blankets, etc.) must not be used or transported outside the house. All defaults will result in charges assessed from time to time by the person in charge. Guests will be held responsible and must pay for any damage, breakage, or loss of property made by you, or your visitors during your stay at the accommodation. Items being replaced must be of the same quality as the originals. Breakdowns caused by the tenant or those of ordinary maintenance will be charged to the tenant and the amounts withheld directly from the security deposit.
- In doubtful cases, the person in charge will keep the entire deposit and will return any difference together with the receipt of the expense incurred for the restoration at a later time.
- It is absolutely forbidden to take the laundry out of the accommodation.
- The customer expressly exonerates the manager from any liability for direct or indirect damages that could derive from innocent interruptions of essential services such as, for example, electricity and water.
- Information and tourist brochures are made available to guests inside the apartment. For any additional information, guests can ask at the Reception of La Canonica Resort
- We decline all responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage to objects of your property left in the rooms or for any accidents, thefts, or damages to people or things just because they occurred inside the property.
